Key Responsibilities
For the Despatch Assistant:
Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers and suppliers
Occasionally collect parcels from customers
Load and unload vans, ensuring products are securely packed and undamaged
Assist in the despatch area with order preparation and packing
Perform vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the van
Accurately complete delivery paperwork and report any issues
Support general warehouse duties when needed
To be a successful Despatch Assistant:
Full UK driving licence with a clean record
Previous experience as a van driver or in a despatch/warehouse environment is preferred
Good time management and the ability to work independently
A
strong work ethic
and
attention to detail
Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items
Friendly and professional approach when dealing with customers
Working Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm with an early finish on Fridays at 12:30pm.
Paying between £12.21-£12.75 Per hour (Depending on Experience)
