Key Accountabilities

  • Dispatch Operations
  • Ensure dispatch of all orders within defined timelines (within 12 hrs / next day deadlines).
  • Maintain dispatch pendency below 2% of clear orders.
  • Ensure STO dispatch within 24 hours.

    • Monitor invoice accuracy and minimize cancellations (

  • Ensure adherence to vehicle in-out process and E-gate compliance.
  • Inventory Management & Governance
  • Drive FIFO compliance for FG dispatch (SAP vs physical alignment).
  • Maintain FG obsolete below 0.02%.
  • Ensure proper stacking as per PFL norms to optimize space.
  • Support monthly physical stock verification and reconciliation.
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of FG and empty inventory.
  • POD & Documentation
  • Ensure timely POD collection and 100% E-POD updates.
  • No pending POD beyond 30 days.
  • Ensure sales return entries within 48 hours.
  • Ensure no pending Empty RR beyond 24 hours.
  • Transportation & Inbound Management
  • Ensure timely vehicle placement as per dispatch plan.
  • Reduce vehicle turnaround time and avoid detention.
  • Monitor inbound FG movement and ensure proper MIGO booking.
  • Support freight cost optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure tracking reports are shared on time.
  • MIS & Reporting
  • Ensure daily reporting before 8 AM.
  • Maintain accuracy of shipping MIS and dashboards.
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • People Management
  • Manage shift workforce including checkers, loaders and contractors.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality and audit requirements.
  • Drive training and capability building initiatives.
  • Ensure workforce availability and productivity.

    • KEY INTERFACES

    Internal: Production, Sales, Quality, Finance, HR, PAC

    External: Transporters, Customers, Vendors

    • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    Education: Graduate / MBA in Supply Chain / Operations / Logistics

    Experience: 5–10 years in FMCG / Beverage / Logistics industry with exposure to dispatch and warehouse operations

    • Rotational Shift

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee shift-based dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of beverage dispatches.
    • Manage inventory control, maintaining accurate records and minimizing stock delays.
    • Coordinate transportation logistics, working closely with transporters to ensure efficient delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality standards.
    • Monitor and analyze dispatch data to identify areas for improvement and optimize logistics processes.
    • Collaborate with PAC, Production, Sales, and Depot teams to align dispatch operations with production and sales goals.
    • Address any issues or bottlenecks in the dispatch process, implementing effective solutions.
    • Maintain open lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on dispatch status.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry.
    • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including dispatch, inventory management, and transportation coordination.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Proficiency in using logistics software and systems for dispatch planning and execution.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, to support dispatch operations.
    • Valid driving license and willingness to travel for business purposes.
