Role:
Delivery Driver
Pay rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
Hours:
8:30am – 4:30pm can go longer during busy season, up to 10 hours.

Average day:
• Working in pairs with the lead driver
• Doing deliveries within the GTA
• 1 – 6 deliveries in a day depending on the size of the delivery
• Driving a sprinter van or 16 foot cube truck
• Delivery to residential customers; going into homes, unpackage items
• Assembling equipment with the use of hand tools (tools provided)
• Heavy lifting (machines like treadmills, pulleys). Machines can weight up to 300lbs
• Hand tools provided
Responsibilities:
• Order loading:
Review daily run sheet, load items based on optimal access & minimize damages in transit and verify contents of loaded vehicle matches order pacing slips
• Order delivery & Unloading: safely delivery order to customers (room of choice if applicable) and adhere to specific delivery instructions.
• Customer
Communication
:
Greet customers in a friendly manner, provide proactive updates to customers regarding arrival time, and address and customer concerns.
• Equipment Assembly:
Efficiently assemble Equipment per manufacturer instructions using appropriate tools and conduct testing to ensure equipment in functional.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
Schedule service appointments, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and raise any concerns regarding vehicle safety/ performance issues.
• Warehouse
Duties
:
Pick orders, assist with consolidation/ organization, and general cleaning and maintenance.
Qualifications:
• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass crim check
• G license, clean abstract
• 1 year of delivery driver experience
• 1 year of moving or white glove delivery experience
• Comfortability in a physically demanding role including standing for long periods of time, repetitive tasks/ movements and lifting heavy objects up to 150 lbs
• Ability to work efficiently under strict timelines, while ensuring accuracy
• Organized and detail oriented
•

• Mechanically inclined and competent with hand and power tools
• Need to have their own safety boots
Assets:

• Raymond Reach and Certification
• Forklift/counterbalance Certification
