Summary
Transportation is hiring experienced drivers for the Touch freight Account – Warrensburg, MO account. This dedicated position offers weekly home time, consistent miles, and a highly competitive pay package. Drivers will be responsible for delivering freight to Touch Freight locations across multiple states, with full hand unloading required at each stop.
Job Details
Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset at home.
Freight Type: 100% touch freight (full hand unload).
Delivery Area: Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
Work Schedule: Runs include both day and night shifts.
Weekend Work: Required.
Holiday Work: Required (except Christmas Day).
Loads & Stops: Multiple stops per trip with manual unloading at each location.
Compensation & Pay Structure
Weekly Pay: $1,200 – $1,300.
Mileage Pay: $0.68 – $0.70 per mile.
Weekly Miles: 1,300 miles on average.
Stop Pay: $10 per stop.
Unload Pay: $225 per load.
Backhaul Pay: $50 per load.
Short Haul Pay: Not available.

Experience Required: First Seat (Experienced drivers only).

Qualifications
Valid CDL A license
Proven experience in truck driving and commercial driving
Proficiency in operating tractor-trailers
Familiarity with manual transmission and refrigerated trailers
Experience with flatbed and tanker trucks is a plus
Ability to load and unload freight efficiently
Previous delivery driver experience preferred
Knowledge of local driving regulations and safety practices
Responsibilities
Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
Navigate designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues.
Utilize manual transmission and operate various trailer types, including flatbed and tanker.
