Job description:
Please note: This is reefer freight and does run overnights.
Drivers are home weekly, 2 to 3 days off and a full 34-hour reset. Days off vary on a rotating schedule, please note that drivers work some weekends with days off falling during the week.
- Running a mix of shuttles, full loads, and deliveries from shuttle points in Whitestown, IN and Demotte, IN.
- All loads are pre-loaded on tri-temp/dual temp reefers.
- Some freight handling is required. Most stores are store unload with the driver observing the unload. The inner city stores will require the use of lift gate and pallet jacks.
Pay
.64-.76 CPM (depending on experience)
Average weekly: $1,864
Top weekly: $2,507 (based on 10 years of verified experience)
Accessorials:
Stop pay: $10 per stop, ~15 stops per week
Downtown Chicago small format stores, manual unload: $110 per load
Detention: $20 per hour
Please have 3 months of OTR tractor trailer experience, good MVR and favorable background check.
