Job Overview:
We’re seeking experienced Class A CDL Doubles Drivers to join our dedicated account based in Front Royal, VA. This position involves 100% touch freight, with drivers unloading trailers at differentstores across VA, NC, DC, PA, NJ, OH, MD, and WV.
Key Details:
Freight Type: 100% touch freight (live unload)
Region Covered: Within 700 miles of Front Royal, VA
Weekly Miles: 1,500 miles per week
Stops Per Trailer:1-6 stops
Schedule: Includes nights, weekends, and holidays (Minimum 3 loads per week)
Unload Pay: $250 per trailer + $125 per week for completing 3 loads
Training: 5-day ride-along ($150 per day)
Pay & Bonus Structure:
Weekly Pay: $1,725 average, up to $2,200 for top earners
Mileage Pay (Experience-Based): $0.60/mile – $0.73/mile
Backhaul Pay: $35
Sign-On Bonus:$1,000 ($500 after 1st load, $500 after 30 days)
Home Time: 34-hour reset (weekly)
24/7 Fleet Coverage & On-Site Staff at Distribution Center
Requirements:
must hold a Valid CDL A
minimum of 4 months of Over The Road experience
Must be able to unload freight (physically demanding)
Doubles Endorsement Required (Must attend Doubles Class in Atlanta before assignment)
Strong customer service skills
Hard backing experience
Must complete 2 full shadow runs during orientation ($150 per day)
Responsibilities:
Perform 100% touch freight unloading
Complete at least 3 loads per week to qualify for the weekly incentive.
Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer with doubles endorsement.
Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
