Our client, a logistics and transportation services company, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the Transportation Operations Department supporting dispatch, routing, and traffic coordination teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
- Enter and manage customer load information into the Freight Optimizer system
- Monitor daily shipments to ensure on‑time pickups and deliveries
- Communicate with drivers to provide updates and resolve routing issues
- Update account managers and customers on load status and exceptions
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate delivery appointments as needed
What’s Needed?
- Minimum 1 year of logistics or transportation industry experience
- Basic knowledge of dispatching, routing, or freight coordination
- Ability to communicate clearly with drivers and customers
- Experience with data entry or transportation management systems
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
