Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the customs team to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with local, national, and international trade regulations
Ensure proper classification of goods, determination of tariffs, and payment of duties and taxes as required.
Coordinate with the accounting or finance department to ensure accurate record-keeping of customs-related transactions and duties paid.
Ensure that all import and export activities are compliant with relevant regulations, including customs, trade, and tariff laws.
Prepare regular reports on customs operations, including compliance status, issues, and
resolutions.
Work closely with government agencies, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to
resolve any compliance issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in customs operations or logistics
Extensive knowledge of customs laws, regulations, and tariff classifications.
Experience in handle PI besi baja and Quota Import
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
