Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in customs clearance/declaration, preferably in Logistics/Freight Forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of HS Codes, C/O, FTAs, customs valuation, import/export duties, and commodity policies.
- Proficient in VNACCS/VCIS and customs declaration software.
- Hands-on experience in resolving complex customs issues and working with Customs Authorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently under pressure
- Good English communciation
Job Description
- Handle and control customs declarations through VNACCS/VCIS for various import/export regimes.
- Review shipping documents, HS Codes, C/O, customs valuation, duties, and commodity policies before declaration.
- Monitor customs clearance and directly handle Yellow/Red Channel shipments, physical inspections, and arising issues.
- Advise customers on customs procedures, permits, specialized inspections, and import/export regulations.
- Liaise with Customs Authorities and handle customs valuation consultation and post-clearance audit matters when required.
- Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Operations, Trucking, Warehouse, and Accounting to ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery.
- Keep updated on customs, tax, and import/export regulations and identify potential compliance risks.
- Support SOP/process improvements and provide technical guidance to junior Customs staff.
Working Time: 44 hours/week + 4 hours/week (WFH)
