Due to continued business growth, our client is looking for a dedicated Customs Administrator to join their Dublin team. Responsibilities will include:
- Compliance & Accuracy: Preparing and submitting UK and Irish customs declarations in line with Revenue and HMRC standards.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborating with transport providers, warehouses, and internal teams to facilitate smooth shipments.
- Financial Precision: Managing customs duties, VAT, and tariff calculations using the appropriate commodity codes.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying and resolving clearance issues to prevent delays.
- Operational Excellence: Keeping current with legislative changes and contributing to departmental KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience:
- Strong MS Excel skills, excellent numerical ability, and high attention to detail.
- Experience with Azyra or similar logistics software is a bonus.
- A proactive team player who can also work independently, with excellent communication skills and the organisational ability to juggle a busy workload.
- Previous experience in customs clearance (Irish/UK) is advantageous and also open to applicants with the right background and a genuine eagerness to learn.
