Job Title: Customs Licensed Broker
Location: Port Moresby
We are a logistics organization seeking a Customs Licensed Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the customs clearance process for all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and keeping abreast of changes to customs regulations that may impact our business.
Responsibilities:
– Manage the customs clearance process for all incoming and outgoing shipments
– Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and laws
– Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions
– Advise internal stakeholders on customs regulations and requirements
– Identify and resolve customs-related issues and discrepancies
– Keep up-to-date with changes to customs regulations and laws that may impact our business
Requirements:
– Active PNG Customs Broker License
– Have a copy of their PNG Customs Brokerage Examination results
– Strong knowledge of customs regulations and laws
– Must NOT have outstanding liabilities/ warnings with PNG Customs.
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Must have two or more years of Compiler/ Broker experience
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and customs software (AW++ and or AW) systems
– Have a current driver’s license
