Main duties and responsibilities:
Support the end-to-end customs clearance process
Communicate with clients and assist in preparing the customs clearance process
Liaise with customs authorities to facilitate the customs clearance process
Prepare and analyze necessary documentation / information for an accurate customs clearance process
Ensure correct classification of goods to be cleared
Assist with administrative tasks related to customs clearance
Issue operational and administrative documentation, such as invoices
Support the organization of the division’s documents
Valued knowledge, skills and abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, international trade, or a relevant field
Valid driver’s license
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Conversational proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken)
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
A positive attitude and a proactive, flexible approach
Clear and effective communications skills
Strong time management and strong organizational skills
Close attention to detail
High accuracy in all functions
