About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member to support day-to-day logistics operations. This role focuses on track & trace, order building, dispatch-level carrier communication, and proactive customer updates to ensure shipments move smoothly from pickup to delivery.

You’ll play a critical role in maintaining operational accuracy, keeping systems up to date, and supporting customers with timely and clear shipment information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery
  • Perform track & trace and proactively update customers on shipment status and ETAs
  • Build, manage, and release orders in the transportation management system
  • Communicate with carriers regarding dispatch, pickup, delivery, and delays (no rate negotiations)
  • Prepare, review, and validate shipping documentation for accuracy
  • Troubleshoot basic operational issues and escalate when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all systems are consistently updated

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years working for a Canadian or American 3PL / trucking / freight broker
  • Proven experience supporting customers in the logistics space
  • Clear written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and logistics or tracking software
  • Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is a strong asset
