Position Overview: This role provides support to our Inside Sales Managers, Regional Managers, and Customer Account Manager in a team environment within the Branch. This person will work with a diverse group of important callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels within the organization. This position is also the launch pad for someone interesting in our Customer Account Manager role.
Essential Job Functions:
· Answer incoming calls
· Manage daily mail – Open received mail and distribute as needed; prepare Tulsa mail and customer invoices
· Inventory and order office supplies (stationary, postage stamps, cleaning needs, coffee, etc.)
· Make bank deposits
· Prepare warehouse orders for invoicing: Retrieve from warehouse, print freight bills and match with orders-coding appropriately
· Scan warehouse and direct ship documents; send freight bills to Accounting
· Enter Manufacturer Rep Orders.
· Follow up on open direct-ship orders and request invoices and freight bills as needed.
· Assist Customer Account Reps with order entry and quote preparation
· Run reports as needed
· Assist management with meeting arrangements: presentations, reports, travel, meals, etc.
Qualifications/Competencies:
· Must be a team player
· Highly motivated and able to work without supervision
· Possess above average verbal and written communication skills
· Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
· Good phone voice with positive and professional attitude
· Extremely organized
· Detail oriented
· Understanding of accounting fundamentals/practices
· Sales mentality
Requirements:
· Some college preferred
· 2 years of related work experience in a sales office
