Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering customer inquiries and order entry.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Field large amounts of incoming telephone calls in a timely manner in order to assist The Recreational Group-Turf Division customer’s needs.
Responsible for maintaining high level of professionalism with customers while working to establish a positive rapport.
Provide excellent customer service through phone, e-mail, etc. in a timely and accurate manner.
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
Provide customer with product knowledge, specifications, etc. as needed.
Generate order documentation (estimate, sales order, purchase order, payment, invoice)
Obtain freight carrier quotes and pricing for orders
Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within acceptable time period; follow up to ensure resolution.
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
Assist The Recreational Group-Turf Division customer’s Dealers/Distributors as directed.
Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Thorough understanding of the policies and practices used in the company
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to lift 15 pounds
Standing for extended time
Be available by phone or physically as needed
