Customer Support Representative- Staff
PURPOSE:
Provide customer support services to vendors, customers and operations teams by delivering timely and accurate reporting on work orders, provide status updates on customer account activity. This position requires an individual who is detail oriented with a strong work ethic
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:
Must have strong computer skills.
Ability to interface with management team, sales and operations.
Ability to greet and communicate with Customers in a positive manner.
Must possess very strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Proficient with Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Ability to learn & use Quantum and Aeroxchange purchasing portal.
Ability to communicate at all levels internal and external to the company.
Exhibit a proficiency to multitask and follow through on all assignments through completion of tasks.

Job Duties:
Collect data from Operations and Sales to prepare RFQ’s and Quotes with accuracy in a timely manner.
Call Customers as required for Quote approvals, parts, statuses, freight charge approvals, and turn time issues.
Creating, Scanning and filing all Sales orders.
Answer customer inquiries about order status, cost proposals, account balances and all general information.
Expectations include the ability to sell additional services to existing customers.
Provide daily written updates on customer interaction to the management team
Assist as needed with administrative duties and answering phones.
Additional responsibilities may include assisting with shipping and receiving documentation, Hazmat shipping, receiving parts into inventory and from vendors, intercompany transfers and purchasing workshop items.
Additional duties may include:
Work with management personnel to resolve any transportation issues or concerns.
Pack and unpack items properly to mitigate the possibility of damage.
Ship packages both domestically and internationally.
Obtain all required documentation for international shipments and ensure package is properly secured and labeled.
Complete required documentation for shipping Hazardous Materials.
Properly classify Hazmat items and ensure IATA documentation is present.
Safely package, secure and label items.
Verify items shipped and received against Customer Repair Orders (RO) and Company Purchase Orders (PO) information.
Perform tasks in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements. Adhere to security and safety policies.
Perform additional administrative duties as required such as answering incoming phone calls.
