Title: Customer Service – Air & Ocean (Mumbai/Pune)

Coordinate proactively with Shippers, CHAs, Customers, and internal Operations Teams to ensure smooth communication and execution across all stages.

Manage shipments in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), customer-specific requirements, country regulations, and CEVA’s Air & Ocean processes.

Ensure timely and effective handling of all day-to-day customer service activities.

Accurately maintain and update the Daily Status Report (DSR).

Monitor file-level Profit & Loss (P&L); ensure no file is handled at a loss without prior management approval.

Engage in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and regular customer meetings to strengthen client relationships and track performance.

Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Maintain thorough knowledge of ocean freight operations and industry best practices.

Handle escalations promptly and efficiently, with a professional and solution-driven mindset.

Act as a quality leader and collaborative team player, contributing to continuous improvement.

Encourage and support long-term commitment within the team for sustained success.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor Degree

Experience

Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in the logistics industry in similar capacity.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Knowledge of Ocean Freight operations & regulations

Proactive coordination with internal & external stakeholders

Customer service orientation & escalation handling

Familiarity with SOPs and logistics processes

Proficient in MS Excel and operational tools
