Job Description:
1.Responsible for the company’s merchandise importation and exportation, collaborate and coordinating with relevant agencies such as customs, inspection and quarantine authority, airline cargo station, inland container depot, port of autority, etc., and handling approval and declaration matters related to import and export businessï¼›
2.Interpret customs policies and declaration standards, familiarize with the local fiscal and taxation policies, including customs policies of Batam Free Trade Zone and Semarang Free Trade Zone trade agreements, identify customs risks, promptly correct and formulate preventive measures, lead and plan import and export business models in advance; improve customs clearance efficiency while optimize the customs clearance costs;
3.Track the progress of customs clearance, and assist in solving problems that arise during the clearance process; output the solutions to the customs clearance process and continue to optimize them;
4.Formulate customs clearance strategies with agency, sourcing the quality resource among the customs agency, coordinate during bidding process, and be responsible for subsequent fulfillment processes and performance management; formulate SOP for customs operations, identify the risk during the process and manage with sense of risk control to enhance the SLA;
5.Connect with relevant departments and personnel such as SCM team, international transport team ,freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and receiving warehouses, arrange for pick-up and transportation of goods at the port, supervise and track the transportation status of goods, and handle abnormal problems during the process;finished operation and monitor brokers finished system related operations in system timely;
6.Other tasks assigned by the leader.
Job Requirements:
1.Bachelor degree or above, major in international trade, logistics management and other related majors;
2.English and Bahasa is mandatory required to be used as working languages,ability to speak Chinese is a plus;
3.More than 5 years of customs related experience, understanding of local customs , laws and regulations, familiar with the policies and procedures of import and export customs certification, inspection, and customs declaration processes under various trade rules, with rich experience in import and export practical experience, able to handle various customs declaration and inspection abnormalities;
4.Familiar with international cargo transportation, logistics management, international trade and other related knowledge; bonus points for those with bonded experience and familiarity with tax exemption policies; 5.
5.Applicants with industry resources and connections with local customs and relevant departments will be given priority;
6.Have excellent communication skills, strong sense of service and teamwork, and be able to withstand greater work pressure
