Pay Range: $17.50 – 18.00/hour
About this opportunity:
This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the buildings and grounds daily to ensure neatness and cleanliness. Drives a Salvation Army vehicle to transport passengers to and from Salvation Army activities or to conduct business on behalf of the Salvation Army.
Key responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitization
Provides transportation for members to and from the Corps on Sundays if needed. Drives a Salvation Army vehicle to conduct business on behalf of The Salvation Army. Picks-up and delivers miscellaneous items as needed.
What we are looking for in you:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
AND
Six months experience performing general housekeeping/custodial duties; experience operating and maintaining company vehicles preferred.
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Valid Driver’s License and must meet TSA MVR Requirements.

Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read and communicate in the English language. Ability to exert the physical energy required for performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing. Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors. Work involves driving a vehicle where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with long-distance trips or heavy traffic.
