Position Summary
The Country Manager – Logistics will oversee and direct all logistics and transportation operations across the country. This includes strategic planning, business development, operational excellence, and full P&L responsibility. The role is critical in ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and market competitiveness within the logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire logistics operation within the country (including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and last-mile delivery).
Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with regional goals to grow the logistics footprint and customer base.
Ensure operations are running efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high service levels and safety standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Ensure full compliance with local regulations and global company policies.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of logistics operations.
Manage key customer relationships and support sales/commercial teams in client development.
Lead, mentor, and develop local logistics and operational teams.
Represent the company with external stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is a plus).
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a country or senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including trucking, warehousing, freight forwarding, and distribution.
Proven experience in managing P&L and driving business growth.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Fluency in English (Arabic or local language preferred for regional roles).

Experience in working with multinational logistics companies.
ERP/logistics software knowledge (e.g., SAP, WMS, TMS).
