About Us
Alsendo is a fast-growing Polish logistics and shipping group, operating at the forefront of e-commerce delivery solutions. Recently, we’ve expanded into Lithuania through the strategic acquisition of UAB “Visas transportas”—the powerhouse behind the well-known local brands Siųsk24 and Cargobooking. This acquisition strengthens our cross-border delivery capabilities and opens doors to new technologies, client segments, and operational synergies across Central and Eastern Europe.
With plans for significant investment and team growth in Lithuania, we’re seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to spearhead our local operations and drive integration, performance, and innovation under the Alsendo umbrella.
Your Mission
As the COO, you will be the key operational leader responsible for translating group strategy into local execution. You’ll oversee daily operations, scale processes, align cross-border logistics, and collaborate closely with our Polish headquarters and Baltic clients.
Key Responsibilities
Optimize, transform and lead day-to-day operations of our Lithuanian logistics and e-commerce service business
Manage the integration of Siųsk24 and Cargobooking into the Alsendo ecosystem
Implement scalable operational strategies, ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction
Oversee shipping network partnerships, review current agreements and seek for new carrier partners nationally and internationally.
Manage a local team of 15 FTE.
Identify growth opportunities in the Baltics and support expansion planning
Report directly to Supervisory group.
Requirements
â–ª At least 5+ years of relevant experience in courier industry, ecommerce industry, operational roles, and/or entrepreneurial SME-focused businesses
â–ª At least 2+ years of managerial experience including P&L responsibility or internal team ownership, especially leading sales or customer care teams
â–ª Previous experience in the Lithuanian courier/logistics industry is a must
â–ª Good understanding of the Lithuanian (and ideally Latvian / Estonian) shipping / courier market incl. relationships with relevant stakeholders
â–ª Knowledge of cross-border shipping solutions and relevant stakeholders
â–ª Previous experience in leading sales teams and developing multiple sales channels (digital, call center) would be an asset
â–ª Previous experience in leading operations and customer care teams, with proven track record of optimizing processes and increasing efficiency
â–ª Understanding of the pre as reselling / broker age business model would be an asset
â–ª Track record in processes optimization and excellent execution
â–ª Ability to drive strategic business initiatives and projects across multiple teams to deliver value add, including international projects including Alsendo Group entities
We offer:
Salary in the range of 4,500 – 6,200 Eur gross
