CONVENIENCE SITE ATTENDANT (Part-time Position)
Job Description:
Operate a county-owned convenience site for collection of solid waste. Check all vehicles for Solid Waste sticker and direct users where to deposit various items of household garbage and other waste materials. Enforce collection site rules. Assist users with unloading waste materials as needed. Keep facility clean and free of hazards. Assist Solid Waste truck drivers with container transfers when needed.
This is a part-time, no benefits position. Attendant will work Friday-Saturday shift. Convenience Site (SCURLOCK SITE)
Job Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Valid NC driver’s license with acceptable driving history. Must be able to lift items weighing 50 pounds and tolerate outdoor conditions. Must pass criminal history background check and may be subject to alcohol and drug testing. Must be resident of Hoke County.
$11.53 per hour; no benefits
