We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.
Prepare and present accurate financial reports in compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
Manage budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Conduct technical accounting analysis to support complex transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.
Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, for efficient financial management and reporting.
Provide guidance and support to the finance team on double entry bookkeeping practices.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
Experience
Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial report writing, technical accounting, and financial management principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and tools; experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
Familiarity with IFRS standards and double entry bookkeeping practices.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams effectively.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
