We’re seeking a permanent full-time Conductor in Vancouver

Your Future Role
Your focus as a Conductor is on safety, punctuality, and efficiency. You are responsible for ensuring train movements are operated safely and on time, providing high-quality service to the public and passengers.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 12-hour shifts) with an hourly rate of $53.35.
Work involves being in enclosed areas (locomotive), climbing, lifting, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. You must maintain the required fitness level as outlined in the Canadian Railway Medical Rules Handbook.
All activities are to be performed in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, legislation, Alstom’s Health & Safety policies, and local railway regulations.
Responsibilities
Assisting and informing passengers during boarding and disembarking
Addressing and escalating customer service issues
Interacting with host railway’s rail traffic control centers
Reporting defects to maintenance staff

Participating in emergency evacuation procedures
Candidate Profile
We value passion and attitude alongside experience. The ideal candidate will have:
Valid CROR certification (mandatory)
Formal customer service training or experience
Excellent English communication skills
A valid driver’s license
Experience in the railway industry is an asset
