NYB Ventures Group Inc is looking to add OTR Company Drivers to our team. Our ideal applicant is hardworking, has good communication skills, flexible and is capable of working long hours.
Job Duties Includes:
Safely transporting freight between various locations over long distances.
Complete truck inspections before and after each trip to ensure that all mechanical systems are in good working order.
Carefully planning routes to ensure that deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
Maintaining the company truck, which includes washing and cleaning it, changing oil and water, monitoring tire pressure, and performing minor repairs as needed.
Maintaining a logbook detailing the hours traveled, rest periods, miles covered, as well as all fuel, repair, and toll expenses.
Promptly reporting any traffic violations, road accidents, and vehicle breakdowns to management.
Notifying the dispatcher and customer of any delay that may affect scheduled delivery times.

Requirements:
Be at least 23 yeas of age
Manual driver is a PLUS
TWIC Card is also a PLUS
Must be ok with working as a team if required.
At least 2yrs of a VERIFIABLE tractor-trailer and OTR driving experience.
Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Have no more than three recorded moving violations within a three-year period
Must know how to block, brace, strap, chain, tarp, and secure a load properly
Clear knowledge of road safety regulations.
Be able to use road maps and GPS devices.
Capable of working long hours.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
