Job Description / Responsibility
Oversee all export and import-related activities, including management of L/C (Letter of Credit), shipping documents, and bank dealings.
Ensure smooth coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, C&F agents, and customs authorities.
Ensure compliance with export-import rules and international trade regulations.
Liaise with government bodies such as BGMEA, EPB, Customs, Bond Office, and Bangladesh Bank (or relevant national authorities). Handle licenses (Bond License, IRC/ERC, UD, VAT, etc.) and renewals.
Ensure all documentation complies with national and international standards.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and trims.
Maintain supplier relationships and monitor cost, quality, and lead time.
Manage export documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, GSP/CO, and bank negotiation documents.
Oversee the preparation and timely submission of export-related reports.
Manage commercial costing and monitor shipment profitability.
Coordinate with the finance department on payment realization, foreign currency handling, and cash flow planning.
Educational Requirements
Master of Commerce (MCom) in Commerce
Skills Required: Commercial, Computer skill, Working with Deadlines, English Communicatin Skill
