Job Summary
We are seeking a professional CDL / Shipping/Loading.
The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with various truck types, and a commitment to safety and timely deliveries.
Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
Responsibilities: This role involves transporting parts, boxed materials, and supplies between company locations. Candidates must have prior experience driving box trucks and/or flatbeds, demonstrate safe driving practices, and be comfortable with routine local routes, loading, and unloading as needed.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks such as box trucks and flatbeds.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Drive route schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups across designated locations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation
- Secure cargo properly using appropriate restraints for safe transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations
- Assist with forklift operations when necessary for loading or unloading freight
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delivery issues
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with commercial vehicles such as box trucks and flatbeds
- Delivery driver experience preferred, especially involving freight handling and route driving
- Knowledge of load securing techniques and safety standards for freight transportation
- Valid CDL license with F-Endorsement required
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently across multiple routes while maintaining safety standards
