Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, including experience with different trailer types such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and roll-off trucks. A commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills are essential for success in this position.

Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
- Assist in the maintenance of vehicles by reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all company policies related to driving hours, load limits, and safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, including delivery driver roles involving route driving.
- Experience operating various truck types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks is a plus.
- Prior experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and working with freight regulations is desirable.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for the vehicle types operated.
- Experience with forklift operation is an advantage but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to drive safely over long distances while maintaining punctuality and professionalism. Pay: $1,500.00 – $4,000.00 per week
