Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, including local, and over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. You will be home every night! Your expertise in handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials will ensure timely and secure deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while adhering to strict safety standards and regulations set by the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation). If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about logistics and transportation, this role is perfect for you!DutiesSafely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment for hazardous materials.Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time deliveries across long-distance OTR routes.Load, secure, and unload freight with manual handling techniques while complying with logistics cargo handling standards.Transport automobile parts or other goods via trailer or flatbed, ensuring proper load distribution and safety protocols.Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards during all phases of driving and cargo handling.Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on trucks to guarantee vehicle safety and compliance.Complete accurate documentation for delivery logs, incident reports, and shipment records; communicate effectively with dispatch teams.RequirementsValid CDL A license with a clean driving record with at least two years of experience.Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrains.Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation, hazardous materials handling, and logistics cargo handling procedures.Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for over-the-road (OTR) routes.Ability to load & unload freight safely using manual handling techniques; experience with truck loading/unloading is a plus.Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance requirements, and hazardous goods regulations.Strong commitment to safety protocols, punctuality, and professional conduct during all driving activities.Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver and become an essential part of our logistics network!
