Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, That are all local with flexible start and delivery times. Your expertise in handling refrigerated trailers, tankers, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a local trucking company, delivering essential goods efficiently and securely.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate commercial tractor-trailers, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.Transport freight via route driving, including refrigerated cargo, tanker loads.Use GPS navigation systems to plan and follow optimal routes, ensuring timely delivery schedules.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in compliance with legal requirements.Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or safety concerns during routes.SkillsProven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license.Ability to load/unload freight safely using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment.Strong understanding of FMCSA, DOT regulations, including hours of service and safety standards for hazardous materials.Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in delivery driving preferred.Join our team to enjoy a rewarding career on the road where safety, efficiency, and professionalism drive every mile!Pay: $21.00 – $30.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
