In this vital role, you’ll operate tractor-trailers and specialized trucks, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will keep our operations running smoothly. We value motivated drivers who thrive on responsibility, safety, and delivering exceptional service every mile of the way.DutiesSafely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, and other specialized trucks on over-the-road (OTR) routes.Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, forklifts, or roll-off trucks while adhering to safety standards.Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules.Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials regulations.Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and safety protocols.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.Load & unload cargo accurately, managing logistics cargo handling for various freight types such as refrigerated goods, automobile transportation, or freight requiring special equipment like dump trucks or tanker trucks.Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with FMCSA guidelines.Communicate effectively with dispatchers to confirm routes, delivery times, and any route adjustments needed.ExperienceValid CDL A license with a clean driving record.Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving.Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and hazardous materials transportation.Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazard materials regulations, and safety procedures for truck loading/unloading.Hands-on experience with GPS navigation systems and logistics cargo handling equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus.Strong understanding of over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and the ability to manage long-distance trips safely and efficiently.Embark on a career that moves you forward!
