Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving, to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in handling different types of cargo, such as refrigerated goods and general freight, will ensure our customers receive their shipments on time while maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on Local and OTR routes, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Transport freight using various trailer types while ensuring proper load securement and manual handling procedures.
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes for timely deliveries across regional and long-haul routes.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, following logistics cargo handling protocols to ensure safety and cargo integrity.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and compliance records in accordance with hazardous materials regulations and trucking standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any unforeseen issues encountered during transit.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving.
- Knowledge of refrigerated trailer and dry van operations.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and electronic logging devices (ELDs) for route tracking and compliance management.
- Ability to manually handle freight loads safely while following DOT safety standards for load & unload procedures.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations related to driver hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and cargo security.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence.
