As a CDL A Driver, you’ll be the vital link connecting our logistics network with customers, providing exceptional service on every route. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and specialized vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers, following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS systems and plan deliveries for over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport and complies with hazardous materials regulations when applicable.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, including checking load security and vehicle systems.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Handle freight logistics cargo with precision, including hazardous goods or dangerous materials when required, following all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any incidents encountered during transit.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license.
- Familiarity with driving manual transmission trucks and operating various types of trailers such as refrigerated units, flatbeds, or tankers.
- Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures along with freight handling best practices.
- Experience navigating GPS navigation systems on large vehicles for route planning and execution.
- Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards related to truck driving and cargo transportation.
- Delivery driver experience involving route driving across diverse terrains and long-distance over-the-road routes preferred.
- Ability to manually handle cargo safely while adhering to safety protocols for hazardous or fragile goods.

Pay: $1,250.00 – $1,800.00 per week
