About the Opportunity
Specialized Global Logistics is seeking a dedicated and professional Commercial Driver with a CDL-A license to join our team. This position offers a daily dedicated round trip from our yard in Plymouth, MI, to Elkhart, IN, covering 350 miles per day. With a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, this role is perfect for drivers who value being home daily and thrive in a predictable, structured work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a commercial vehicle for a daily round trip between Plymouth, MI, and Elkhart, IN.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
Deliver freight on time while upholding our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening and background check.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Physically able to load/unload freight when required (up to 50 lbs).
Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS navigation.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism.
Must speak and read the english language
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $285 per day or $1,425 per week.
