Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Duties
Operate trucks including flatbed and dump trailers for the transportation of freight.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling techniques as required.
Maintain accurate delivery e-logs (Samsara) and records of vehicle maintenance.
Follow delivery schedules and routes while ensuring timely arrival at destinations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during transportation operations.
Manage the operation of manual transmission vehicles when necessary.
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A).
Familiarity with operating various types of trucks including flatbeds and dump trucks.
Experience in freight handling and delivery driving preferred.
Ability to operate moffett not required but is a plus.
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
Must be 25 years old and have a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
