We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for transporting freight across various routes while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to manage your own business operations effectively.
Duties
Operate commercial vehicles including flatbeds, dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, and tankers.
Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently while adhering to schedules.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
Manage paperwork related to freight bills, invoices, and other necessary documentation.
Uphold high standards of customer service during all interactions with clients.
Skills
Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of route driving.
Proficient in operating various types of trucks including flatbeds, dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, and tankers.
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
Ability to handle freight efficiently while ensuring the integrity of cargo during transport.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
