Job Overview:
Join our team as a Truck Driver and play a vital role in our transportation operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods. As a Truck Driver, you will be tasked with transporting various types of cargo in a dry van trailer across the 48 States No touch freight and FULLY LOADED automatic trucks with sleepers. Mix of dry van and reefer freight. No forced dispatch to NYC or the 5 boroughs. You are out 14 days and home 2/3 days for reset. Steady freight and many bonuses available! Great company to work for.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to specified locations.
– Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify the vehicle’s safety and functionality.
– Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards.
– Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any transportation-related incidents.
– Adhere strictly to company transportation policies and procedures to uphold regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
-Must be at least 23 years
– Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
– Decent MVR
-Must have at least 2 years of tractor trailer experience
– Strong attention to detail concerning safety protocols to ensure accident-free operations.
-No preventable accidents in the last 3 years
-Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and Human Performance Evaluation (HPE)
-Stable work history
