Responsibilities
Operate Class A trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery while managing freight loading and unloading.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance, following company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate routes and schedules.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
Operate commercial trucks, including flatbed and tanker vehicles, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Drive long distances to deliver freight to designated locations on scheduled routes.
Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to weight limits.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays.
Utilize manual transmission when required for specific routes or vehicle types.
Follow all company policies regarding safety protocols and freight handling procedures.
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with a focus on route driving and freight transportation.
Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus for loading and unloading tasks.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required; endorsements for flatbed or tanker trucks are advantageous.
Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation is preferred.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
