Position Summary
Dalton Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Truck Driver with Tanker Endorsement to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of driveway sealer products, asphalt coatings, and related materials to customers and distribution locations throughout the region.
The ideal candidate will have strong driving experience, a solid work ethic, and the flexibility to assist with warehouse and loading operations as needed, including pallet jack handling and forklift operation.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tanker trailers and dry vans
- Transport and deliver products in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload materials as required
- Use pallet jacks to move product loads when necessary
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Secure loads properly and verify shipping documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies
- Assist with general warehouse or yard duties when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Current Tanker Endorsement required
- Clean driving record and strong safety history
- Ability to operate a forklift (forklift certification preferred)
- Experience using pallet jacks and handling palletized freight
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Experience hauling liquid products or tanker loads
- Manufacturing or industrial delivery experience
- Familiarity with asphalt, coatings, or construction-related materials
