Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate routes effectively. The Truck Driver will operate A 53 feet Dry Van.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive 53 feet Dry Van
Load and unload freight safely and efficiently If needed (most likely not)
Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.
Skills
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures.
Ability to operate 53 feet Dry Van
Excellent route driving skills with a focus on time management.
Strong attention to detail for conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate records.
Good communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
