Both Dry Van and Container freight. “we rotate freight” Terminal/drop yard located in Walterboro
Looking for drivers out of Walterboro, St George, Orangeburg, Beaufort, Bamburg, Charleston, Savannah and surrounding areas.
Home most nights with occasional layover!
Weekend work available!
Average Weekly Gross 4000-6000 depending on how you run!

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering freight across various routes. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can manage their own operations and ensure timely deliveries. Experience with different types of vehicles, including Tanker, Flatbed, Dump Truck, and Roll Off Trucks, is highly desirable.
Duties
Operate various types of trucks including Tanker, Flatbed, Dump Truck, and Roll Off Truck to transport freight to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload freight securely, ensuring that cargo is transported safely.
Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues on the road.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of freight handling.
Knowledge of route driving techniques and delivery driver responsibilities.
Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances on the road.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
A commitment to maintaining safety standards in all aspects of driving.
