About Climate Express
Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We employ 200 company drivers who help keep families nationwide supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We are a team dedicated to getting things done together.
Equipment
Our trucks are 2022 or newer Volvo 760 models, automatic, with features like ergonomic seats, perfect steering positions, 70″ L / 96″ W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right-way scales on trucks and trailers, and Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. We also have an on-site repair facility and wash bays for maintenance and cleaning.
Pay
Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Drivers can expect an average weekly pay of $2,600 to $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold. Raises and bonuses are available.
Home Time
Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off, with home time agreed upon in writing before hiring. We aim to accommodate personal needs and special events.
Loads & Routes
Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop and hook. We primarily haul dry van (palletized) and reefer loads, avoiding ports, borders, and the NYC area. Freight is mostly in the US middle corridor, on major highways, with no dedicated routes. We operate mostly contracted freight and utilize Pilot/Flying J fueling stations.

Additional Policies
Rider policy allows one passenger aged 12 or older, available from day one. Canine policy permits two small dogs or one large dog with a $500 fee, deducted at $100 weekly until paid, non-refundable once the pet is in the truck. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
Requirements
At least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience, no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. Veterans and women are encouraged to apply. We are a second-chance employer.
