Amarr is seeking an experienced and motivated CDL Class A Driver to join our distribution center team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys contributing to a team environment while ensuring safe and timely deliveries to customers and company locations. This is a touch freight position
, requiring loading and unloading.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery vehicle 3–5 days per week within the region (1–2 overnight trips per week expected)
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers and Amarr Door Centers
- Load, unload, inspect, and prepare deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs
- Perform warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, and staging
- Assist with unloading inbound freight and loading customer pickups
- Support production and assembly tasks when not driving
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Minimum 3–5 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to read and speak English (DOT requirement)
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs consistently
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use power tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Willingness to travel overnight (1–2 nights per week, including Nashville)
Schedule & Pay
- Starting pay: $35/hour (based on experience)
