Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dependable, and dedicated CDL-A drivers for a 2-week out Over-the-Road (OTR) contract. Drivers will haul freight using our 53’ dry van trailers and benefit from our extensive network of customers, terminals, and drop yards. The highlight of this position is that all routed miles are paid — no unpaid mileage between loads. Our planning team coordinates all routes to maximize efficiency and ensure drivers stay within agreed-upon territories.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 53′ dry van trailer while hauling loads up to 45,000 lbs.
Follow assigned routes planned by our logistics team for the entire 2-week period.
Adhere to drop/hook and live load/unload appointments (approx. 50-70% drop/hook).
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, deliveries, and any incidents.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, carrier reps, and team members.
Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance to ensure safety.
Qualifications:
Class A CDL (Required).
Proven experience with OTR trucking and freight transportation.
Ability to haul loads up to 45,000 lbs.
Strong navigation skills using GPS or maps.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to commit to being on the road for 2 weeks at a time.
