Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting baled, palletized, and loose material ready for recycling all over the Texas Panhandle using front end loaders, dry van, and flatbed trailers. All loads are within 4 hours and drivers are never gone overnight. We offer competitive wages, paid time off, health insurance, and a great work environment. Duties
Operate various types of trucks including front end loaders, dry van, and flatbed trailers
Safely transport freight to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload cargo using forklifts and manual handling techniques.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
Assist in warehouse when needed.
Skills
Proficient in truck driving with experience operating manual transmission vehicles.
Knowledgeable in handling various types of trailers, including refrigerated trailers.
Strong understanding of load securing techniques for safe transportation.
Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading cargo efficiently.
Excellent navigation skills with a focus on safety and compliance with road regulations.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
Applicants should be 21+
Have a current Class A CDL
Have a clean driving record
Be able to provide current medical card
Pass a background check
Pass drug and alcohol screen
Lift 50lbs
