Position: Class 1 Drivers (Refrigerated/Frozen /Chilled Delivery Drivers )
Class 1 Drivers (Refrigerated/Frozen/Chilled Delivery Drivers – Spalding)
We are currently looking to recruit several HGV/LGV (C+E) Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client for a Refrigerated/Frozen & Chilled Distribution company in Spalding for deliveries nationwide throughout the UK. Guaranteed 48 hours a week (any 5 days from
7). This role may involve some Night Out duties. We welcome PAYE Drivers only for these roles.
Minimum Requirements:
You must have no more than 6 points (speeding only)
No DD/DR/MS or CU convictions or Bans
Hold a Digital Tachograph Card and DCPC qualifications
Have at least 6 months proven on the road experience within the past 12 months

Knowledge Required:
Understanding of Drivers Hours and Tachograph Regulations and Laws
Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network
Good knowledge of secure loading practices
Fridge RDC deliveries experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Delivering and collecting mainly food products
Ensuring all work undertaken is done in line with current driver’s hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive legislation
Mainly Refrigerated/Frozen Chilled deliveries/reloads
Palletised work. No handball
Start times vary between 00:00 and 02:00 and 10:00-14:00 hrs
