Job Description:
HGV Class 1 Driver – Collections Only | Preston (PR2)
£15.28 per hour + 28 days paid holiday | Monday to Friday |
We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Preston (PR2). This is an ongoing, full-time opportunity offering stable weekday work and excellent conditions.
Job Details:
* Role: HGV Class 1 Driver (Collections Only)

* Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour
* Schedule:
Monday to Friday (no weekends)
* Type:
Ongoing / long-term position
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out collection-only routes (no deliveries)
* Complete up to 10 collection stops per day
* Perform manual handling when required
* Ensure safe, compliant, and timely vehicle operation
* Complete all relevant paperwork and follow site procedures
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 12 months of Class 1 driving experience
* Good knowledge of UK road networks
* Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
