Job Description:
As a Class 1 HGV driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting a variety of goods across the UK and Europe. This role involves handling both roller bed and loose refrigerated and non-refrigerated cargo, ensuring that deliveries are made safely and on time. The work is straightforward and clean, providing a mix of different types of cargo to keep the job interesting
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles
Adhere to delivery schedules and routes
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Requirements:
Valid LGV Class 1 License (held for a minimum of two years)
CPC driver qualification
Tacho card and CO-D qualification
No more than six points on your license
Five-year checkable history and an up-to-date DBS check
Minimum 2 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience
Proficiency in English
Work authorization in the United Kingdom
