For our client, an international logistic company, we are looking for a high-performing Sales Executive who can drive commercial growth, build strong client relationships, and expand market presence. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded professional with a consultative sales approach, solid knowledge of customer needs in ocean freight, and a proven ability to convert opportunities into long-term business.
What You’ll Do:
– Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities for container shipping and related logistics solutions while building and managing a strong sales pipeline.
- Monitor market trends, trade flows, customer requirements, and competitor activity to uncover commercial opportunities and strengthen sales strategy.
- Own performance against sales targets by developing customer portfolios, negotiating commercial terms, and consistently delivering revenue growth.
- Prepare and present competitive proposals, service solutions, and rate offers aligned with client shipping requirements and trade priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Documentation, and Operations teams to support seamless customer experience from booking to cargo execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM records covering pipeline activity, customer visits, business opportunities, and account development plans.
- Share regular pipeline updates, customer insights, and trade-lane opportunities with leadership to support commercial decision-making.
- Contribute to broader commercial initiatives, customer retention efforts, and strategic growth plans across key accounts and target segments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in sales within the shipping, ocean freight, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with importers, exporters, and logistics stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Good understanding of ocean freight services, trade lanes, booking processes, and the service expectations of shipping customers.
- Experience using data analysis tools, ideally Power BI, to identify customer trends, market opportunities, and commercial actions.
- Upper-intermediate to advanced English required to communicate effectively with international clients and review technical materials.
- Proven ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
