Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, motivated individual to take over a well established chip/snack route. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and has strong customer service skills. MUST HAVE A TRUCK! You will provide your own truck and we will provide the enclosed trailer for delivery.
Responsibilities
Transport and deliver chips to local grocery stores as well as some convenience stores.
Communicate effectively with store receivers and other vendors regarding delivery and sales.
Conduct weekly inventory counts.
Maintain your personal vehicle maintenance as well as maintenance on the enclosed trailer provided for you.
Lifting required for delivery of product.
Must be physically able to work the product onto the shelves including the bottom shelves.
Conduct weekly check in of product by comparing product received to bill of landing
Skills
Proven experience as a route delivery driver.
Experience towing a trailer.
Familiarity with delivering product into stores.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with store leads and receivers.
Knowledge of freight handling procedures for receiving product into warehouse weekly.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are highly valued.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $500.00 – $1,000.00 per week
